Membership information & application

By making application today, you are being added to the waiting list for membership. The wait is approximately three-four years depending upon when you make application, and you will be notified of a membership spot via email.  It is up to you to let us know if the email you submitted on your application changes.

You will only be considered for membership if you reside in the Water District #18 boundary that was established in 1990. You can check whether you are in the boundary in the Maps section of the home page of our website. 

Membership in LHPA is offered for a calendar year, January-December. New membership costs $1,200 for a first-time initiation fee, plus annual membership dues of $550 for the association’s operating expenses. Your initiation fees help us continue the capital improvement investments we’ve made over the years.

After your first year if you renew annually with no lapse, annual dues are $550 (subject to change annually).

Membership entitles you to receive parking stickers for up to three (3) cars and one (1) security gate card, for you to access our park with your vehicle, and to have access to our pool during regular summer hours. A second security gate card may be purchased for $50. Lap swimming may be purchased for $200 for use Tuesday through Sunday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Kayak racks, when available, are $150 per space for an annual lease. You may submit an application for kayak rack space on this website.

When you are invited to join, you will be asked to provide your vehicle information and current insurance card for ownership verification.  We don’t issue stickers if we don’t have vehicle information on file.
