Welcome To Lake Hills

2023 Annual Meeting Summary

We are pleased to announce the results of our recent LHCA election, along with some important updates regarding ballot measures and member engagement. Your active participation in this process is crucial to the growth and development of our community.

This year’s LHCA election saw an increase in voter turnout, with 33% of the membership casting their votes. In comparison, the turnout in recent years has been as follows:
– 2022: 26%
– 2021: 27%
– 2020: 21%

Congratulations to Craig Baldwin, Bill Blackstone, and Sean Ludera for being elected to the LHCA board. We look forward to their valuable contributions to our community. Thank you, Nick Golde and Brian Cooney for serving on the board.

The proposal to increase the initiation fee for new members from $1,000 to $1,200 has passed. This change will help support LHCA’s ongoing efforts to enhance and maintain our community.

Lap Swimming

The Board anticipates heating the pool through mid-December for lap swimming, Masters swim, and private swim lessons (more information to follow soon).   The pool is open for lap swimming from 6 am to 10 pm.

As a reminder, lap swimming is open to members over 15 year of age at a cost of $200 per household. Lap swimming is unsupervised and a waiver must be signed and on file with CAM by each participating family member. No children under the age of 15 are allowed in the pool area during non-guarded hours, with the exception of private swim lessons approved by the Board and swim team activities. Failure to comply will result in revocation of lap swimming privileges and no refund of fees paid.

Pool

For pool maintenance, the pool will be closed on all non-holiday Mondays.
Beginning May 29th (Memorial Day), the pool will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 1-8 pm.
Then on August 14th, the schedule will reduced to Friday from 6-8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 1-8 pm.
The pool will close for the season on September 30th.
